Madger Gomes was at Leeds United for a season.

Gomes was on the books of Leeds for the 2017-18 campaign and left for FC Sochaux-Montbeliard in France in the summer of 2018.
The 22-year-old Spanish midfielder had injury issues during his time at Elland Road and was able to make only two first-team appearances for the Whites, both in the Carabao Cup.
Now on the books of Leeds’s Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers in League One, the former Liverpool prospect has suggested that he failed to make an impact at Elland Road due to injury problems.
Gomes told Marca: “When Victor Orta called me, I was very excited. Leeds are a very big club, Elland Road is a very nice stadium, always with 30 thousand people.
“Leeds deserves to be in the Premier League. But I did not have much continuity, also because of injuries.”

Succeeding at Doncaster Rovers
Gomes is a very talented and promising young midfielder who models his game on Liverpool legend and current Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, as he told the Reds’ official website back in April 2017.
The 22-year-old has time on his hands, and he can certainly be a success at Doncaster if he stays free of injuries and works hard.
