Aston Villa attacker Bertrand Traore has reportedly suffered another injury whilst on international duty with Burkina Faso.
According to Birmingham Live, the 26-year-old winger missed yesterday’s 2-0 win over Djibouti as Les Etalons secured a huge three points in their quest to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Traore is one of Burkina Faso’s top players, yet the west African side were fine without the Villa star despite an injury in training ahead of their clash against Djibouti.
Whilst it is unknown how long Traore will be out for, Villa boss Dean Smith will be hoping the Burkinabe attacker will return from injury before Saturday’s clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Since arriving from Olympique Lyonnais last year for a reported £17m, Traore has often found himself on the injury table for Villa. The attacker missed multiple games last season due to various bumps and issues.
And it appears that Traore has suffered a similar fate for Burkina Faso on international duty. With the Premier League resuming this weekend, Villa will be praying the winger is fit to play.
Villa fans fum as Traore suffers another injury

As you would expect, Villa fans on social media are far from pleased that Traore has suffered another injury problem. With Leon Bailey not up to full fitness, the Midlands side could be light on the wings for Saturday.
