Mido has criticised Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho on Twitter for the way he celebrated with his backroom staff after the club finished sixth in the Premier League table this season.

Spurs have ended up sixth in the league standings with 59 points from 38 matches, level on points with seventh-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The North London outfit secured their place in the Europa League next season on Sunday after a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in London in the league.

After the match, Mourinho celebrated his team’s achievement with his backroom staff, and former Tottenham striker Mido is not pleased.

Harsh?

Mourinho is a serial winner who has won titles in England, Spain and Italy, as well as the Champions League.

Spurs were in the final of the Champions League only last season, and it is quite disappointing that the North London club have not even finished in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

However, playing in the Europa League is an achievement as well. Mourinho actually won the competition with Manchester United in 2017, and perhaps in 2021 he will do the same with Spurs.
