Luke Ayling has labelled Gjanni Alioski as the ‘maddest man ever’ after Leeds confirmed that he is leaving the club.
Both Leeds and Alioski failed to come to an agreement over a new contract for the 29-year-old and he has now left, as they confirmed on Monday.
A popular figure in Leeds colours, Alisoki was as mad as a box of frogs, who entertained both his supporters and teammates during his time in Yorkshire.
When it was confirmed that Alioski has left Leeds, Ayling and Kalvin Phillips sent the following messages from their Instagram stories.
Ayling wrote on his Instagram story: “Miss you buddy. Maddest man ever. But we love you.”
Whilst Leeds United’s Euro 2020 star, Phillips wrote on his Instagram story: “Good luck brate! You will be missed!”

Alioski sure was the crazy entertainer at Elland Road and there’s no doubt his character around the changing room will be missed.
Whilst Alioski’s ball-carrying abilities and excellent positional play allowed him to play several roles in Marcelo Bielsa’s system, he was mainly used as a left-back.
And that’s an area the Whites needed to address before the summer kicked in, with Stuart Dallas, who is naturally a right-sided player, thriving in that position.
But that’s where a certain Barcelona star in Junior Firpo comes into the equation because it seems as though he is heading to Elland Road.
