Leeds United have been linked with Jack Marriott of Peterborough United in the summer transfer window.

Jack Marriott is one of the best strikers in the lower leagues in England, and there is no surprise that Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic and Leeds United have been linked with the Peterborough United star.
According to The Scottish Sun, Scottish Premiership dup Celtic and Rangers are interested in signing Marriott from Peterborough in the summer transfer window.
The Scottish Sun has also claimed of interest from Championship trio Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest in Marriott, who scored 27 goals and provided five assists in League One in England this season.

Leeds need a proven goalscorer in order to finish in the Championship playoffs next season, and Marriott could prove to be a smart signing.
Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has stated on social networking site Twitter that there has been no discussions with Leeds officials over the 23-year-old striker in May.
What is interesting and intriguing about MacAnthony’s response is that he mentions having no discussions in May – did they have any talks before this month? Will they talk next month?
