Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony’s reply to a suggestion about Marcus Maddison replacing Alex Pritchard at Norwich City makes it clear that Leeds United target is not for sale.

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has made it clear on social networking site Twitter that reported Leeds United target Marcus Maddison (The Peterborough Telegraph) is not for sale in the January transfer window.
According to a recent report in The Peterborough Telegraph, Leeds are interested in signing Maddison from Peterborough this month.
Maddison is one of the best players in League One and has been playing well for Posh so far this season.

The 24-year-old, who is a very versatile footballer and can operate as a winger, attacking midfielder or left-back, has been a key reason why Grant McCann’s side are in the race for the playoffs.
Peterborough chairman MacAnthony, though, has made it clear on Twitter that Maddison is not for sale in the January transfer window.
The 41-year-old made the comment while replying to a suggestion that Maddison would be a good replacement for Alex Pritchard at Norwich City.
The former Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder recently left Championship club Norwich for Premier League outfit Huddersfield Town in the January transfer window.
MacAnthony has also rejected a Leeds fan’s offer of a swap deal involving Maddison.
