Tottenham Hotspur are heavily linked with a move for the French midfielder.

And then there were two. Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus are the only clubs left in the running for Tanguy Ndombele, according to Le 10 Sport in France.
Spurs have been linked with a move for the Lyon midfielder for much of the summer, and he is reported to prefer a switch to North London.
And a report in Italy could suggest that further developments may be on the way.
According to Tuttermercatoweb, Lyon are in ‘advanced talks’ to sign Empoli star Ismael Bennacer who, like Ndombele, is a midfielder.
It’s plausible that the former Arsenal player could be earmarked as Ndombele’s replacement and once Lyon sign him, it may prompt Tottenham – or Juventus – to accelerate their pursuit of the 22-year-old.
Despite the Italian club’s interest, The Evening Standard reported on Sunday that the Lilywhites are ‘confident’ of getting a deal done for the France international, who could cost the North Londoners a club-record £60 million.
More developments could come independent of what happens with Bennacer, but it seems likely that Lyon being close to signing the Algerian is a positive thing for Mauricio Pochettino.
