The PSV Eindhoven hitman would be a useful addition for West Ham United this month.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini will be looking to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium this month, with a number of key areas in desperate need of strengthening.
One particular department that will concern the Chilean is his attacking options with Javier Hernandez facing an uncertain future in east London and Andy Carroll nowhere near where he needs to be from a fitness perspective.
With this in mind, the Hammers should consider a move for PSV Eindhoven striker Luuk de Jong.
The 28-year-old has been in fine form in Holland this season, scoring 18 goals in 26 appearances for PSV, and he possesses all of the attributes that West Ham currently lack.
The Dutchman is physically durable, excellent when playing with his back to goal and he is a deadly finisher.
De Jong would be the ideal strike partner for Marko Arnautovic, and he would undoubtedly help take some of the pressure off of the Austrian’s shoulders.

The striker is still under contract with PSV until the summer of 2021, so he wont come cheap, but West Ham should attempt to test the Dutch side’s resolve nevertheless.
And if Pellegrini does mange to bring De Jong to the London Stadium, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Hammers.
