James Justin hasn’t played a Premier League game yet for Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester CIty but he scored his first Foxes goal in the EFL Cup.

Graeme Jones has paid tribute to the ‘outstanding’ James Justin as the new Leicester City full-back made a goalscoring debut in Tuesday’s EFL Cup win against his former employers, speaking to Luton Today.
As if The Hatters 4-0 defeat at the hands of Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester wasn’t disappointing enough, the hosts defence was ripped apart by a player who rose through the ranks at Kenilworth Road and became a first-team star in the lower leagues.
Luton-born Justin was unstoppable at times as he helped the Bedfordshire outfit seal promotion from League One last season before earning a £10 million move to the King Power Stadium, as reported by The Sun.
In his first appearance for Leicester colours, Justin made an emotional return to Kenilworth Road and reminded his old employers what they’re missing with an exceptional display capped by a maiden Foxes goal.

“I think James Justin just shows you what we lost here at Luton, because I thought he was outstanding tonight,” said Jones, who took over this summer and therefore never got the chance to coach the rampaging full-back in a competitive fixture.
Justin will be hoping that he has given Rodgers a selection dilemma ahead of Leicester’s weekend clash with Newcastle United, though the England U21 international still has a lot to do if he is to usurp Ricardo Pereira or Ben Chilwell.
