Luton Town boss Nathan Jones has told Leeds Live that Leeds United will score plenty of goals next season, even if they are promoted to the Premier League.
Leeds could only manage to pick up a 1-1 draw with Luton last night, with Simon Sluga putting in a wonderful performance in the Hatters’ goal.
Sluga thwarted Leeds on numerous occasions, as Luton denied Marcelo Bielsa’s side an important three points.
And Jones was delighted with the point, as he thinks that Leeds will even trouble top level opposition.
“He was superb today. You need your keeper when you come to Elland Road,” Jones said of Sluga.
“There will be Premier League sides that come here and concede, I promise you that. These are a well drilled, excellent side with talent. I’m proud of that point.”
Leeds had actually fallen behind against Luton after Harry Cornick scored on the breakaway.

However, the Whites did manage to hit back when Stuart Dallas found the net just after the hour mark.
Leeds then went on to miss some gilt-edged chances, as they were held to a rather disappointing draw.
Leeds are still in a strong position to win promotion, but Brentford have closed the gap down between the Whites and third spot down to six points now.
