HITC Sport understands the Luton Town boss is in the frame for the Nottingham Forest vacancy.
Highly-rated Luton Town boss Nathan Jones is under consideration for the vacant manager’s job at Nottingham Forest, sources close to the club have told HITC Sport.

Nathan Jones impressing at Luton
Forest have endured a poor run of form since December picking up just two points from their last seven games to leave them just three points above the drop zone and the club decided to axe Montainer as a result of their slump.
Gary Brazil, Forest’s academy manager, has been put in temporary charge of first-team affairs, while Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi draws up a list of replacements for Montainer and Jones is thought to figure highly on his wanted list.
Philippe Montanier
Jones has impressed in his first sole managerial role at Luton since taking charge at Kenilworth Road last January.
The 43-year-old guided Luton a mid-table finish last season and this term the Hatters are in the play-off spots in sixth, just six points outside the automatic promotion spots.
Jones is regarded as one of the brightest young coaches in the Football League after starting his coaching career as assistant manager at Yeovil Town.
Nathan Jones alongside Chris Hughton at Brighton
The Welshman enjoyed a successful spell as Under-21s boss at Charlton before joining Brighton & Hove Albion in 2013 as assistant to Oscar Garcia.
Jones was highly-regarded at Brighton and they were reluctant to lose him to Luton last January.
Forest are looking to recruit a forward-thinking young coach to help the club get back on track with a long-term project and Jones fits the bill after catching the eye at Brighton and Luton.
