Liam Cooper has taken to Twitter to give an insight into how he reacted after Leeds scored a late winner to beat Manchester City earlier today.
Stuart Dallas slotted beyond Ederson in the 91st minute at the Etihad Stadium to hand Leeds an incredible win over Pep Guardiola’s men.
After a fan messaged him, Cooper shed some light on how he reacted to the goal from inside the Etihad Stadium’s changing rooms.
You can see what the 29-year-old wrote below.
That comes as absolutely no surprise.

We’d presume that Cooper would’ve gone wild at the goal had he still been on the pitch.
However, he probably went even more crazy in the dressing room, as there was surely an element of relief in his celebration.
After being given his marching orders in the 46th minute, Cooper probably thought he’d cost his side any chance of getting a result today.

However, Marcelo Bielsa’s men rallied together and did themselves, and their dismissed captain, proud against one of Europe’s best teams.
Astonishingly, Manchester City have won 27 of their last 29 games in all competitions, losing the other two.
For Leeds to have inflicted one of those two defeats just goes to show how big an achievement this really was – especially with ten men!
