West Ham should consider making a move for Luke Shaw in January.

According to reports from The Times, Luke Shaw is facing an uncertain future at Manchester United, and his relationship with Jose Mourinho has reached a new low.
Shaw is frustrated with lack of game-time this season, and the pair are not on speaking terms. The 22-year-old has made only two appearances from the bench for United since returning from a foot injury two months ago.
Mourinho has made it clear that the former Southampton defender is behind Daley Blind, Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian in the pecking order.

The report claims that Shaw may have to consider leaving the club. He is not actively seeking a January loan move, while any interested party may be deterred by his £100,000-per-week wage packet.
Shaw has a contract till 2019, but United want to make sure that they get a fee if they sell him. West Ham must not miss this opportunity and move quickly ahead of others.

Aaron Cresswell is a fine defender, no doubt, but Shaw is a top-quality player. He has age on his side, and all he needs is regular games under his belt.
If he can take care of his injuries, there is no doubt that he will add quality and depth to any side. Given his age and quality, he is a gamble worth taking.
