Tottenham Hotspur should make a move for Luke Shaw of Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
According to The Sun, Manchester United want at least £28 million as transfer fee for Luke Shaw, and Tottenham Hotspur should not hesitate to make a move for the former Southampton star this summer.
Shaw has struggled to make an impact at United since his move from Southampton in the summer of 2014 and has long been linked with Tottenham.
The England international left-back worked with current Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino at Southampton, and was quoted as saying by The Independent back in October 2017 that he wanted to play for him again.
A report in Metro in February 2017 claimed that Spurs could make a move for the 22-year-old defender in the summer of 2017.
Shaw is only 22 years of age, and given that there is no doubt over his quality, he would be a brilliant long-term signing for Spurs and would be a bargain buy at £28m – and club chairman Daniel Levy should make it happen.
With United keen on Tottenham left-back Danny Rose, according to The Sun, it would not be a bad idea for the North London club to propose a cash plus swap deal.
Pochettino has shown that he can work wonders with talented and promising young players, and having already worked with Shaw, he could help the England international reach his full potential.
