Leeds United midfielder Luke Murphy has been loaned out to Burton Albion for the season.

Murphy has spent the season so far out on loan at Burton, and the midfielder says he is loving his time at the Pirelli Stadium.
However, Murphy claimed that he wanted to have a conversation with Christiansen about his future at Leeds, before committing his future elsewhere.

“I’ve loved my time here (at Burton),” Murphy said. “I need to speak to people at Leeds and see if I am wanted there. There have been big changes there since I left & I probably only know a handful of faces.
“It’s completely out of my hands.”
Murphy seems unlikely to break back into Leeds’ team, as they have moved on without him.
Leeds have a stacked midfield now, with Christiansen having a wealth of options to pick from.

Leeds already have Eunan O’Kane, Mateusz Klich, Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira competing for places in their midfield.
At Burton Murphy has been a key player, with the 28-year-old playing in all but one of Nigel Clough’s side’s Championship matches so far this campaign.
Burton are currently in 22nd place in the Championship table, with their next match coming against Reading at the weekend.
