Everton defender Luke Garbutt has headed out on loan to Ipswich Town for the season.

Everton defender Luke Garbutt has admitted to TWTD that his future lies away from Goodison Park.
Everton have loaned out Garbutt again, with the left-back joining Ipswich Town.
Garbutt has not featured for Everton for years now, with Marco Silva seemingly feeling that he is surplus to requirements.
And the 26-year-old has suggested that believes he won’t be at Everton for much longer, with his contract expiring at the end of this campaign.
“With a year left on my contract and I’m out on loan again, it’s probably going to be away from Everton but I’m just focusing on the here and now and performing well for Ipswich,” he said.

Garbutt has made an encouraging start on his latest loan spell, and he scored on his Ipswich debut.
At 26 it does seem that the time has passed for him to make an impact on Everton’s first-team though.
Garbutt was once considered to be one of Everton’s brightest prospects, but most his career has now been spent at either Championship or League One level.
Everton already have Lucas Digne as their first choice left-back, while Leighton Baines fulfils a covering role.
