Everton’s under-23 side won again.

Luke Garbutt featured again as Everton’s under-23 side continued their impressive record.
The left-back made his first appearance of the season for the under-23s last week in a 1-0 win over Derby, and last night helped the team to a 4-2 victory over Arsenal.
Everton won through Anton Donkor, Anthony Evans, David Henen and and own goal.
Garbutt commented on social media, praising the victory and talking up how important it was for his fitness.
Garbutt signed for Everton back in 2009 and signed a five-year deal in 2015.
Despite this he has fond opportunities limited and recently had loan spells with Fulham and Wigan Athletic.
Goalscorer David Henen also took to Twitter after the victory.
The win lifted Everton above Arsenal in the under-23 table into second, but they remain five points behind rivals Liverpool who have a 100 per cent record after six games.
Everton’s next game is away at Portsmouth after the international break.
