Leeds defender says he can’t wait for the season to begin.

Leeds United defender Luke Ayling has expressed his excitement for the 2018/19 season to kick off.
The Championship fixtures were released yesterday and Leeds have an exciting home fixture to begin with against newly relegated Stoke City.

They then face Derby County, with Frank Lampard and Marcelo Bielsa head to head in the dugout.

Ayling sent a message to fans on Twitter after the fixtures were announced.
Ayling has more reason than most to be excited, having missed the latter half of last season due to injury.
Leeds missed him badly, and it should be no coincidence that their form fell off right afterwards.
Ayling could have an important role next season as part of Marcelo Bielsa’s back three, and his versatility should appeal to the Argentine manager.
