Leeds United star Luke Ayling has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Terry Skiverton’s decision to leave Yeovil Town.

As announced on Yeovil’s official website, Skiverton has left his role as the club’s assistant manager.

The 43-year-old spent the past nine-and-a-half years spent in first-team management roles at Huish Park.

Ayling, who can operate as a defender or as a defensive midfielder, worked with Skiverton at Yeovil, and he has given a passionate reaction to the decision on Twitter.

Promotion challenge

Leeds are challenging for automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are second in the league table at the moment with 42 points from 21 matches, just a point behind leaders Norwich City.

Ayling is on the sidelines at the moment due to a knee injury he suffered back in October.

As for Yeovil, they are currently 20th in the League Two table with 21 points from 19 matches.
