Luke Ayling has reacted on Twitter to the news that Pablo Hernandez has extended his contract with Leeds United.

After months of speculation and uncertainty, the Spanish playmaker put pen to paper on a new two-year deal today.

Having scored three and set up another three in his last eight Championship games for Leeds, securing his future is a major boost for the West Yorkshire side.

Fans of the Elland Road club on Twitter are delighted, but so too is right-back Ayling, who gave a simple yet effective reaction to the news.

The next move for Leeds now must be to secure Samu Saiz for the long term.

The former Huesca playmaker, a £3.1 million signing last summer, has enjoyed a brilliant first season with United overall, though he has fallen foul of the club’s fans as of late.

Nevertheless, promotion to the Premier League is much easier with someone of that ilk and if the Whites can keep him beyond this summer, perhaps tying him down to a new deal, then it’ll make luring players to Elland Road that bit easier.
