The West Ham United star really impressed for Manuel Pellegrini’s side this season.

West Ham ace Lukasz Fabianski raved about the quality of Declan Rice, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website, labelling the youngster as ‘amazing’.

The 20-year-old was quite simply superb for the Hammers this season, although he was usurped for Hammer of the Year by none other than Fabianski himself.

The England and Poland internationals were undoubtedly West Ham’s two best players this season, in what was an otherwise disappointing campaign for Manuel Pellegrini’s team.

Rice is already a fan favourite at the London Stadium, and Fabianski is obviously a big fan of the youngster too.

The 34-year-old suggested that the England international has been amazing for West Ham this season, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website, responding when asked who his player of the season was:

“Declan Rice, easily. He’s been amazing. For such a young age, to be so consistent, very strong, mature and play in such a way, I would say Dec really impressed me this season.”

Rice recently signed a new contract with West Ham that runs until the summer of 2024, and Hammers fans will be hoping that their club stand firm, should any approaches be made for his signature over the next few years.
