Everton and Manchester United go head-to-head this weekend.
Everton take on Manchester United at Goodison Park on Saturday and Roberto Martinez’s side have more than enough talent to inflict another defeat on Louis van Gaal’s side.
The Toffees will have to be at their best to overcome United but they could climb into the top four with a victory and having drawn with Liverpool before the international break they will want to go one better this weekend.
Here we take a look at three Everton players who will be vital if the hosts are to take all three points:
Romelu Lukaku
Belgian international Romelu Lukaku has been in great form this season, scoring seven goals in 10 matches to date.
United’s defence has been flimsy in recent weeks and the last thing they will want is to come up against an in-form Lukaku.
Phil Jagielka
At the opposite end of the field Everton defender Phil Jagielka will have to be at his best to ensure United’s striker Anthony Martial does not add to his impressive tally of goals.
The French international has hit the ground running at United and he looks like being the most likely goal-threat, at least for now.
Gareth Barry
This is a match that could be won in the midfield and Gareth Barry has the experience to ensure the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger (if fit) do not dominate.
The unsung hero has experience in abundance and this could be another fine day for the 34-year-old.
