Luka Doncic has reportedly been left surprised by a legal move from his former fiancee Anamaria Goltes following their recent separation.

The Los Angeles Lakers star and Goltes ended their engagement earlier this year after a long-term relationship.

Now, new details have emerged about a legal petition filed in connection with their two children.

Luka Doncic was reportedly unaware of Anamaria Goltes’ petition

TMZ reported that Doncic was caught off guard by the filing from Goltes after their breakup.

“Doncic added he had no idea of Goltes’ filing. The report went on to say Doncic expressed his desire to bring their newborn to the States back in December … and a disagreement led Goltes to call police, although officials did not detect a criminal offense,” the report revealed.

The report described how tensions around the living arrangements for their children became a central issue following the separation.

Doncic had reportedly hoped to bring the newborn to the United States during the NBA season. However, the situation escalated into a disagreement that ultimately involved authorities, though no criminal activity was found.

Anamaria Goltes petition focuses on child support

Further details about the filing outline the specific requests made in the petition.

“Luka Doncic’s partner, Anamaria Goltes, just filed a petition for child support of their two minor children…

“The petition states Anamaria moved back to Slovenia in May of last year… and their kids have remained with her ever since, including their youngest, who was born in December 2025,” TMZ’s report further stated.

“The petition does not seek custody orders, only child support and attorney fees,” the report concluded.

The filing focuses on financial support rather than custody arrangements. According to the report, Goltes has been living in Slovenia with their children since last year.

The situation has now become a legal matter as both sides navigate life after the end of their engagement.
