Luis Suarez has posted on his Instagram story ‘mates after training’ as he was pictured alongside Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez after World Cup training with Uruguay.
With one being a former Red and the other looking to write a name for himself on Merseyside, Liverpool fans might just see the duo starting together for Uruguay at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Uruguay are in a pretty tasty-looking group, alongside South Korea, who have Tottenham Hotspur flyer Son Heung-min in their ranks.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be hoping for one last bow as he dons the colours of Portugal, whilst an old rival in Ghana will want revenge for Suarez’s handball from the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

NUNEZ’S TIME TO SHINE
There was a lot made about Nunez’z big-money transfer to Liverpool in the summer and perhaps a slight overreaction to his performances.
The 23-year-old was probably critiqued a bit too much, even though he has started much better than what is being suggested.
He heads to the Middle East after netting a brace during Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Southampton before Premier League football was halted.
In total, he has nine goals from 18 games in all competitions, which is pretty impressive for a player being questioned.
Nonetheless, this is now Nunez’z time to cook on the world’s biggest stage because both he and Suarez are going to cause utter chaos in the final third.
