Rangers secured a stunning 4-2 win over Borussia Dortmund in Germany on Wednesday night, returning to Ibrox with a two-goal lead. Luis Garcia reacted, responding to Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s post on Instagram.
Goals from James Tavernier, Alfredo Morelos, John Lundstram and an own goal from Dan-Axel Zagadou saw Rangers win in Germany – despite efforts from Jude Bellingham and Raphael Guerreiro on Thursday night.
It hands Rangers a hugely unlikely win, and a massive chance to progress into the Europa League round of 16. That is, given that the Europa League have added a play-off round to the competition with Rangers leading.
Manager van Bronckhorst posted on Instagram after the stunning win at the WestFalenStadion. He underlined his delight at the victory, before stating attention now switches to Sunday’s clash against Dundee United.

The Dutch gaffer got his tactics absolutely spot on. Having noticed Dortmund’s shaky defence in his pre-match analsysis, the ex-Feyenoord boss chose to use a high press – instead of sitting back and defending.
A brave approach, given Dortmund’s abundance of quality in the likes of Bellingham, Mahmoud Dahoud, Marco Reus and plenty more. But it paid off and now Rangers have a real chance of getting into the next round.
Reacting to his Instagram post, Liverpool icon Garcia applauded van Bronckhorst for his efforts – posting a three-word verdict.
