Speaking to Liverpool’s official club website, Luis Diaz has been chatting about Jurgen Klopp and how he’s found working under his new manager.

The Colombian has hit the ground running in the Premier League, and it seems as though he’s very comfortable in his new surroundings.

Diaz is loving working under Klopp, and he’s used just one word to describe the gaffer – incredible.

What’s been said?

Diaz spoke about Klopp.

“The manager? Incredible! That’s a single word you can use for him from the short time we’ve spent working together,” Diaz said.

The winger then elaborated on what makes Klopp such a good manager.

“He’s a very humble, down-to-earth person, very calm. He tries to ensure all his players are happy, and for me that’s very important.

“At the start, I think it was more about him telling me what I’ve been doing up to now. He was trying to put across to me that all it was about was for me to keep doing what I’ve been used to.

“He wanted me to know that I’d been performing very well up to now and that I should just try to keep on doing more of the same. To play my football with joy and happiness, while obviously incorporating the preferred tactical plans and instructions into my game.”

Success story

Luis Diaz may have only have been at Liverpool for a few months, but he’s already got to be considered one of Jurgen Klopp’s greatest success stories.

The winger has immediately settled, he suits Liverpool’s style, and he seems to absolutely love working with his manager.

The fact that Klopp has immediately been able to make Diaz feel at home is a credit to his man-management abilities, and it’s yet another example of why Klopp is one of the greatest managers ever.
