Sofiane Feghouli has failed to do much of note for West Ham United in the Premier League.
AS Roma head coach Luciano Spalletti has been quoted as saying by Calciomercato.com that he is interested in signing Sofiane Feghouli from West Ham United in the January transfer window.
Spalletti has revealed that Roma are working on a deal to bring the 27-year-old winger from West Ham this month.
“Massara [Roma sporting director] is working hard, but we also need to consider the economic aspect of every operation,” Spalletti told Calciomercato.com. “You already know the players that we are interested in. Feghouli is one of them.”

Feghouli joined West Ham in the summer of 2016 after leaving Valencia at the end of the 2015-16 season.
Much was expected of the 27-year-old winger when he arrived at the London Stadium, but the Algeria international has failed to deliver.
The midfielder has been able to make only eight appearances in the Premier League so far this season, creating only five chances in the process.

The departure of Feghouli would not be a massive loss to West Ham, who would probably look to sign a replacement.
Even if the Hammers do not bring in anyone in place of the Algerian, given that the winger’s contribution has been minimal, one suspects that they may not bother for a replacement.
West Ham are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 22 points from 20 matches, seven points above the relegation zone.
