Becchio played for both Leeds and Norwich during his career.

Luciano Becchio has reacted with delight on Instagram after Leeds United leapfrogged Norwich City to sit at the top of the Championship table after beating Bolton Wanderers 1-0.
Patrick Bamford returned from a posterior cruciate ligament injury to come on as a substitute against Bolton on Saturday afternoon away from home, and it turned out to be a match to remember.
He scored his first Championship goal for the Whites with his first touch, latching on to Pablo Hernandez’s excellent assist to lash the ball past Ben Alwnick from just inside the penalty area.
The win saw Leeds rise to the top of the table ahead of Norwich’s late kick-off against Bristol City, but the Canaries could only manage a 2-2 draw. Leeds icon Becchio reacted on Instagram by posting on his story.

Becchio earned cult-hero status at Elland Road after clocking up 219 appearances for the Whites in all competitions and scoring at a rate of one goal in less than every three matches – with 86 strikes.
It saw him earn a move to Norwich in January 2013, but he managed just 16 appearances and failed to score a goal. He was eventually shipped out to Argentine side Belgrano, and since retired in the summer.
Leeds are indeed top, but what may prove more important is that Marcelo Bielsa’s side have opened up a six-point gap between themselves and third-placed West Bromwich Albion after winning five straight matches.
