The former player and current co-owner were watching as Leeds lost 3-2 to Barnsley.
Leeds United suffered a minor setback in the Championship yesterday – as they lost 3-2 at Oakwell to Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.
Leeds took the lead through Chris Wood but goals from Tom Bradshaw, Ryan Kent and Conor Hourihane gave Barnsley a win they deserved – despite a late scare after Wood bagged his second from the penalty spot.
Luciano Becchio celebrates
After their exemplary form in recent weeks this was a knock for Leeds, who are chasing promotion back to the Premier League.
But they still had plenty of support on Twitter, including from one cult icon.

Luciano Becchio joined up with Leeds in 2008 after leaving Spanish side Merida. He scored 86 goals in 221 games for the club before leaving to join Norwich City in controversial circumstances.
Now he is playing in the Spanish lower tier with Binissalem in Mallorca, but is still a follower of his former club.
He posted this tweet yesterday:
He was not alone, with the club’s new co-owner Andrea Radrizzani was clearly pleased when Leeds took the lead. However, he went quiet as the game went away from them:
Leeds United let them down yesterday but overall it has been a good time to be a Leeds fan of late. Hopefully Leeds can give them something to cheer about in midweek against Nottingham Forest.
