Perri has been linked with a move to Palace for much of January.

Roy Hodgson of Crystal Palace looks on prior to the Premier League match between Liverpool FC and Crystal Palace at Anfield on January 19, 2019 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Lucas Perri’s agent has suggested on his Instagram story that a move for his client to Crystal Palace is imminent after posting a picture from the Eagles’ training ground – before deleting it.

The Evening Standard claimed earlier this week that Palace were closing in on a move to land the 21-year-old goalkeeper, with a medical being scheduled for Wednesday. He could be signed in time to face Tottenham on Sunday in the FA Cup.

Palace are in desperate need of a new goalkeeper, after 39-year-old Julian Speroni was forced to feature between the sticks and made an enormous mistake as Liverpool earned a 4-3 win at Anfield.

Cornacini gave Palace fans plenty of hope by posting a picture on Instagram of the club’s training ground on Wednesday, and although he deleted the post, his upload suggests a move is near completion.

Vicente Guaita and Wayne Hennessey are both injured, but Brazilian stopper Perri is now set to join Palace and ease Roy Hodgson’s woes in goal. Perri has never played for Sao Paulo, but is highly-rated in Brazil.

Palace have had to fend off interest from Serie A sides Fiorentina and Sampdoria to land the Brazil Under-20 international, who has a contract at Sao Paulo until the summer of 2022.
