Larissa Moura, the wife of Lucas Moura, has reacted on her Instagram story to Tottenham Hotspur announcing that the winger will be leaving at the end of the season.
Ryan Mason’s side will host fellow London rivals Brentford for their last home game of the 2022/23 Premier League season on Saturday and it is set to be Lucas Moura’s farewell, with his contract coming to its conclusion, as Tottenham posted on their website.
The 30-year-old’s wife stated on her Instagram story that she will be ‘always grateful’ for the journey she and her husband have been on with Spurs.
From scoring on his FA Cup debut to scoring that hat-trick in the Champions League semi-final against Ajax.
That moment in Amsterdam is one that will live long in the memory, not just for Moura, but for Spurs as well.
Nonetheless, this is what the Brazilian’s wife had to say when Spurs put out their statement on Thursday night.
“I will always be grateful for so many incredible moments we live here…” she wrote, added with a heart emoji.

RIGHT CALL FOR MOURA TO LEAVE TOTTENHAM
When Moura signed for the club in 2018 from PSG, there was a lot of expectancy on his head given the outrageous quality he has with the ball.
His only problem was consistency and not having that cutting edge in the final third, which prevented him from taking his game to the next level.
In truth, that’s something that has followed him throughout his career, that’s why he has only repped his country 35 times and he is leaving Spurs at the age of 30.
Either way, it’s the right call from both parties for the player to be leaving. It will be interesting to see his next move – both Aston Villa and Newcastle United have previously been linked.
