Dharmesh Sheth has shared that Lucas Moura could even leave Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window after the arrival of Arnaut Danjuma.
The Sky reporter added that Moura, whose current contract at Spurs runs out in the summer, won’t be extending his stay and he is due to head for the exit door.
Moura has only played 90 minutes of Premier League football this season and that’s on top of the likes of Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski being injured.

Not forgetting that Son Heung-min has been horribly out of form, yet Moura has still struggled for minutes.
Well, now that Kulusevski and Richarlison are out of the treatment room. Son got an assist during his side’s win over Fulham on Monday night and Danjuma is now in the building, then it’s only going to get tougher for Moura.
It remains to be seen what the 30-year-old does next in his career, but if a ‘good enough offer’ comes in, then he could even be out of the door before deadline day, as Dharmesh Sheth told the Transfer Show on Sky Sports (25/01/23).
“Lucas Moura is another one,” said Sheth. “Tottenham aren’t going to trigger the one-year option in his deal, so he will definitely leave in the summer.
“They might even, if they get a good enough offer, allow him to go this month as well.”

MOURA WILL BE WELL REMEMBERED
The Brazil international secured £25 million transfer to then-Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs during the summer of 2020 (Sky Sports).
A player of immense close control and ability to beat players at will, when Moura turned it on, he was entertaining to watch for his supporters but a freighting prospect for the opposition.
His only problem is that those moments didn’t come along as often as they should have and he lacked that consistency in the final third that Dejan Kulusevski is now showing.
Either way, that moment and hat-trick against Ajax in the Champions League final is something that will live long in the memory of Tottenham supporters.
