Lucas has not always been very consistent for Tottenham and has not always played regularly for the North London club over the years.

Against City last night, Lucas was brilliant and was a key figure in Nuno’s attack.
You could argue that the Brazilian was the best attacking player on the pitch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 29-year-old took three shots, played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 80%, won four headers, took 66 touches, attempted five dribbles, and made one tackle, one interception and three clearances.

The Brazilian could be a big player for Nuno’s Tottenham this season.
