The Tottenham Hotspur forward has taken time to adjust to the Premier League.

Tottenham ace Lucas Moura spoke exclusively to ESPN Brazil after his magnificent display against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night, and shared what everyone was telling him before he completed his switch to north London in January.
The 26-year-old joined Spurs from Paris Saint-Germain in January of this year, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £23.5 million, and he initially struggled to make an impact at the club.
Lucas really came into his own on Monday night, however, tearing United apart and showcasing his incredible talent.
The Brazilian spoke exclusively to ESPN Brazil about his match-winning display at Old Trafford, and opened up on what people were telling him before he joined Tottenham:

“When I started playing here I saw that it really is very competitive, very dynamic. Everyone told me that my football is similar to the Premier League, that here I would get along very well. I’ve been through it. But it’s just the beginning.”
Next up for Spurs is a trip to Vicarage Road to take on Watford on Sunday, and Lucas will be hoping to help fire his side to four wins from their opening four games by producing another blockbuster display.
