Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 with Rochdale this evening.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura has told the club’s official Twitter account that he was happy with his goal on his first start for the club, but was disappointed to only draw 2-2 at Rochdale.
Spurs were back in FA Cup action this afternoon, just days after their Champions League draw at Juventus, and were expected to see off League One side Rochdale – even after struggling past Newport County in the last round.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men fell behind at Spotland, as Ian Henderson put Keith Hill’s side in front on the stroke of half time, leaving Spurs with plenty to do in the second half.

New signing Lucas Moura pulled Spurs level, finishing smartly when played in on goal by Moussa Sissoko, before Dele Alli was fouled for a late penalty, with Harry Kane stepping up to score to put Spurs in front.
Spurs may have thought they were over the line, but Rochdale hit back in the dying embers of the game, with Steven Davies bagging a last-gasp equaliser to earn Dale a replay at Wembley Stadium.
Whilst many Spurs fell short of the mark, and manager Pochettino will be frustrated with that, one shining light from the game was the performance of winger Moura, who bagged Tottenham’s opener on his first start for the club.

The Brazilian wide man, landed from Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day last month, had been limited to substitute appearances before starting at Rochdale, and he impressed many with his display as well as his goal.
After the final whistle, Moura spoke to the club’s official Twitter account, admitting that he was happy with his first start and first goal, but was frustrated to leave without a win, and called on his teammates to prepare well for the replay.
