Lucas Moura is excited to be a Tottenham player.

Lucas Moura #7 of Paris Saint-Germain tries to break away from Radja Nainggolan #4 of AS Roma during the second half at Comerica Park on July 19, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

Lucas Moura has told Tottenham’s official website he is excited to play alongside Serge Aurier again.

The pair played together at Paris Saint-Germain before Aurier left to join Tottenham in the summer.

Lucas has now followed, clinching a £25 million move to the North London side on deadline day.

The pair linked up effectively on the right wing for PSG and Lucas is hoping for similar success again at Tottenham.

He said: “Serge said a lot of good things about the club, about the coach, about the fans.

“He’s crazy! He’s a very nice guy and an amazing player. I’m so happy to play with him again.”

Aurier’s presence at Tottenham will help Lucas settle quickly at Spurs and this will be crucial for a mid-season signing.

The winger is eligible to feature for Spurs in the Champions League, with the club travelling to Italy for the first leg of their last 16 tie in just two weeks time.

Lucas will have been impressed with his new side last night, watching from the stands at Wembley as they beat Manchester United 2-0.
