Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura has commented on his first full season with the club.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura has told the club’s official website that his ‘very happy’ after his first full season at the club.
Moura, 26, joined Spurs on deadline day in January 2018, and remains Tottenham’s last signing more than a year since his arrival.
The Brazilian winger made a slow start to life with the club last season, but started this term well with eight goals from the start of the season to the end of 2018.
However, Moura has really dipped in 2019, and has been a massive disappointment having registered no goals and just one assist in nine games since the turn of the year.
That assist was only against League Two side Tranmere Rovers, and despite clearly being out of form, Moura appears to be pleased with his campaign.
Moura has admitted that he’s ‘very happy’ with his first full season at Spurs, feeling he’s scored important goals – none more so than the equaliser against Barcelona in December to take Spurs into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Moura added that he is happy with his teammates and believes in the team to succeed, but fans would surely say that Moura needs to step up own game between now and the summer.
“I’m very happy,” said Moura. “It’s my first (full) season in the Premier League and for me, it’s the most difficult championship in the world. I’ve played a lot of games, I’ve scored a few important goals for the team and the most important thing is to be ready to help because we have a very good squad and everyone can play, everyone can do a good job.”
“It’s a long season, many games and the intensity is so high here but I feel very good physically and mentally. I’m happy with my Club, my team-mates and as I’ve always said, I believe in this team,” he added.
