Lucas Moura made his Premier League debut for Tottenham on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur speed machine Lucas Moura has declared himself delighted on Spurs’ official website after he came off the bench to make his first Premier League appearance for the north Londoners.
The 25-year-old came on with 24 minutes still to play against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon at Selhurst Park, and helped Spurs finally break the deadlock through Harry Kane in the final minutes of the London derby.
Harry Kane finally found the back of the net to score his 35th goal of the season in all competitions, and push Spurs into the top four places of the Premier League and just four away from second-placed Manchester United.

January signing Moura, who joined for a fee believed to be around £25million from Paris Saint-Germain, stated his joy at making his Spurs debut and also hailed the influence of 24-year-old teammate Kane.
“I am so happy to play my first game in the Premier League – for me, the biggest league in the world,” Moura said. “It’s really a pleasure to play for the team. I’ve joined a very big club with a very good team, I feel important for the team.
“It was very difficult against strong players who are physically powerful. We needed to be careful of the counter-attack but I am happy because we have Harry Kane and he always scores.
“We played well, like a team, like a family really and that’s why I think we won the game.”

Brazil international Moura could be in line to make his second start for Spurs on Wednesday night as Mauricio Pochettino’s men face League One Rochdale in a FA Cup replay, against whom Moura made his first start earlier this month.
If Spurs see off Keith Hill’s men, then Spurs will face the winner of Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday’s replay which takes place on Tuesday night.
