“Every player wants to win trophies, to make history and I am here to make history with my new friends. I believe that because we have a lot of quality, a great structure and I think we can dream with the Champions League. Why not? I gained a lot of experience at PSG and I think I can help Tottenham. The Champions League is the most difficult trophy but we have the capacity to win it.”

Tottenham are in a fantastic position from which to progress through the the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier competition, having drawn 2-2 away at Juventus in the first-leg of their last 16 tie against the Turin giants.

And with Moura now amongst their ranks, it would take a brave man to bet against them advancing against the Old Lady.
