Lucas Digne wrote on his Instagram story that James Rodriguez has ‘too much’ quality after he was asked what it’s like playing against the Colombian star.

The France international is currently on the sidelines with an ankle injury, and during a Q & A on his IG story, he also told a supporter that his ankle is feeling ‘much better know’ after being asked about his current status.

It isn’t a surprise that the Everton players are in awe of Rodriguez because you don’t win the Golden Boot at a World Cup for no reason.

Added with that, you don’t play for the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich without having an abundance of talent.

But, it does seem as though the problem throughout his career has been trying to find that key to unlock that talent and Carlo Ancelotti has seemingly been the only one with the tools to do so.

The Italian has got the best out of Rodriguez, during his time in Madrid, Bayern and now his positive start to life on Merseyside.

But the Everton fans will be hoping Rodriguez’s magic touch can help elevate them to a level they have been trying to reach for many years now, and that’s Europe.

Following their pretty rapid start to the season, performances have been mixed from Everton in recent weeks, but the most important thing is that things are looking more positive compared to previous campaigns.
