Roy Keane has praised Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez on Sky Sports Premier League (7:10pm, August 7, 2022) for his goal against Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Saturday.
Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw with Fulham away from home in London.
Nunez did not start the match, but the Uruguay international striker came on as a substitute.
The 23-year-old, who joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window, scored the Reds’ first goal in the 64th minute.
Nunez also provided the assist for Mohamed Salah’s goal on 80 minutes.
Former Manchester United star Keane was impressed by Nunez’s goal.

Roy Keane on Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez
Keane said about Nunez’s goal on Sky Sports Premier League (7:10pm, August 7, 2022): “Beautiful, lovely great run getting across the defender.”
Encouraging start
In our view, Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez has made a very good and encouraging start to life in England.
The 23-year-old came on as a substitute to score against defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the FA Community Shield last weekend.
The striker gave a good account of himself on his Premier League debut against Fulham this weekend.
Nunez is likely to become a regular in the Liverpool starting lineup in the upcoming matches, and the striker could explode and bang in the goals for fun on a regular basis.
