‘Lovely’, ‘wasn’t bad either’: Nottingham Forest show off duo’s training ground goals

City Ground pair Lewis Grabban and Rafa Mir struck great goals in training which the Forest social media channel proudly shared.

Nottingham Forest are gearing up for a return to action following the international break and the Reds stars have been working hard on the training ground ahead of a quick turnaround in games.

First up for Sabri Lamouchi’s side is this Sunday’s Championship trip to Wigan, then it’s back to the City Ground on Wednesday night to host Hull, before wrapping up the busy week as Reading come to Bridgford on the Saturday.

The Forest media team filmed proceedings on the training ground and proudly showed off Lewis Grabban’s superb curling finish from just inside the box – via the inside of the post – on their Twitter channel:

While Rafa Mir weighed in with a nonchalant backheel finish:

Cue some Forest fans praising the duo on social media:

Optimism is high at the City Ground at present, with Forest sitting second in the Championship table, level on points with leaders West Bromwich Albion, with both teams boasting a great record of six wins, four draws and just one loss from their 11 league fixtures so far, not to mention the Reds having also hammered rivals Derby in the League Cup.
