Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to heap praise on Jack Grealish, after watching the 25-year-old play against Burnley yesterday.

The 3-cap England international scored his sixth Premier League goal of the season to put Dean Smith’s men 2-1 up against Sean Dyche’s side.

However, Burnley fought back to win 3-2 at Turf Moor.

Regardless of the result, Grealish was superb once again, and clearly caught Lineker’s eye.

You can see what the BBC Match of the Day host tweeted below.

In addition to his six Premier League goals this season, Aston Villa’s No.10 also has ten assists in England’s top-flight.

That equates to 16 goal involvements in 18 Premier League appearances for Grealish so far this term, which is simply fantastic.

It has truly been a mesmeric campaign from him so far, and despite losing yesterday, he brought his A-game once again.

As WhoScored shows, Grealish registered an impressive five key passes, and also embarked on four successful dribbles against the Clarets.

The Aston Villa captain also saw all three of his shots hit the target, while he won three free-kicks in the 3-2 defeat.

Grealish is simply getting better and better with each passing game, and it’s no wonder that pundits such as Lineker can’t help but praise him.
