Bournemouth fans on Twitter have made their feelings known towards Ryan Fraser after he completed a move to Newcastle United.

The Scotland international didn’t feature for Bournemouth after the restart because his contract at Dean Court was coming to an end and he opted against extending it until the delayed season finished.

That decision didn’t sit well with the fans, even though someone like Willan continued to play for Chelsea by extending his contract until the season did end before he made a switch to Arsenal.

Therefore, it’s understandable why the South Coast fans are angry at Newcastle’s new recruit, as it was a busy day for the Magpies because they also secured the services of Callum Wilson.

But it was the Fraser signing that the Cherries fans didn’t like, as they warned the Newcastle faithful about his character.

It does seem as though Fraser has a point to prove because he didn’t really impress for Bournemouth last season despite having a standout campaign the season before.

The St James’ Park faithful will be hoping he can rediscover his touch and partnership with Wilson and help push Steve Bruce’s side up the table.
