
Some Leeds United fans on Twitter are delighted with the news that Diego Llorente could play for Spain in their opening Euro 2020 game.
As reported by BBC Sport, Llorente has tested negative for coronavirus and could return to training with his Spain international teammates if further tests are negative.
The Leeds central defender and Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquests tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this week.
Some Leeds fans are delighted with the news and are pleased for Llorente, as shown below.
Spain’s opening game of the Euro 2020 finals is against Sweden next Monday.
All being well, Llorente will be ready for that match.
It will be a massive boost for Spain and will be very good for the defender.
The 27-year-old has not had the greatest of seasons on a personal level.

The Spain international central defender had fitness issues for most of the first half of the season.
In the end, Llorente managed to make made 14 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League.
The former Real Sociedad star actually score once in those games.
Leeds fans will hope that Llorente is able to play well for Spain at the Euro 2020 finals this summer.
