Christian Pulisic has posted on Instagram that he ‘loves to see’ Leeds United secure the transfer of Tyler Adams from RB Leipzig.
The Chelsea winger was reacting to Adams adding to the now-growing list of American players coming to the Premier League, with two of them now at Elland Road.
It has been three years since Pulisic donned the Chelsea colours, when there were no American players in England’s top-flight.
But now, Jesse Marsch is the Leeds boss and Adams has joined him in Yorkshire, alongside Brenden Aaronson, who joined from RB Salzburg.
Nonetheless, when Adams posted images of him greeting the Leeds players and his old manager, the midfielder added ‘all Leeds aren’t we’, with Pulisic adding in the comments section ‘Things you love to see’.
WHAT IMPACT CAN ADAMS HAVE ON LEEDS?
Whilst the talent in Pulisic’s boots is there for all to see, the issues he has had during his time at Chelsea are injuries and a lack of form.
That has meant that he hasn’t been able to become a consistent performer in England’s top-flight, as Adams will be hoping he can have better luck.
As someone like Raphinha has proven, if you can light up this Elland Road crowd and get them off their feet, then they will sing your name forever.
With one hero in Kalvin Phillips out of the door, the Leeds fans are now waiting to see who is next in line and there is a spot open for someone to take it.
