David Sullivan has forked out £100,000 to fly West Ham United striker Michail Antonio back from international duty on a private jet, sparking some Irons fans to react on social media.
Antonio posted an image of the jet to Instagram on Wednesday after representing Jamaica in their World Cup qualifiers.
He earned his second and third Reggae Boyz caps against El Salvador and the United States, scoring against both sides.

Antonio was unable to inspire wins for Theodore Whitmore’s side with the West Ham star netting in two 1-1 draws. But his strike against El Salvador was his first international goal.
The 31-year-old has been flying for the Hammers so far this term, too, with seven goals in 13 games. Netting six in 10 Premier League outings, plus once in three Europa League ties.
He has also laid on four assists in all competitions, and played all but one minute available in the Premier League. Excluding his absence against Manchester United for his suspension.
Antonio’s vital presence in David Moyes’ attack has convinced Sullivan to pay out to ensure he features when West Ham visit Wolves on Saturday looking to move second in the table.
The Daily Mail report Sullivan paid £100k to fly Antonio back one day early on a private jet. He was not due to return to England until Thursday, but Sullivan did not hesitate to pay.
Sullivan wanted to ensure Antonio has sufficient time to recover from representing Jamaica for West Ham’s trip to Wolves. With Manchester City not playing until Sunday handing the Irons a chance to go second, potentially even level on points with table-toppers Chelsea.
