Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Wolfsberger sent a lovely tweet in the direction of the north Londoners last night.
The Austrian outfit sent a post wishing Jose Mourinho’s side well, while adding that they believe Spurs ‘will win’ the Europa League.
The Premier League outfit recorded an 8-1 aggregate win over Wolfsberger, having won the first leg 4-1 and last night’s second leg 4-0.
However, Ferdinand Feldhofer’s side didn’t embarrass themselves in either leg – they specifically troubled Spurs quite a bit at times during the first leg.
That much can be seen in the fact they recorded 14 more tackles than Spurs in the first leg, as WhoScored shows – they gave it their all.
Whatever the scoreline, they’ve now showed their true colours with a truly heartfelt tweet aimed at Tottenham.

Hilariously, there were a few supporters chastising the Austrian side for potentially jinxing their chances of success with the tweet.
However, we’ve rounded up a more grateful bunch of supporters, who have been quick to pile praise on Wolfsberger for their post-match actions.

It’s good to see such sportsmanship at a time where not every club acts so graciously in defeat.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about the tweet…
