Liverpool fans loved seeing Kostas Tsimikas seemingly so delighted at full-time at Old Trafford, as he stole Mohamed Salah’s match-ball away from him.
Best view in the house
Liverpool ran out 5-0 winners yesterday, with Tsimikas an unused substitute for the contest.
The Greek defender had prime viewing, as his teammates put United to the sword time and time again.
Tsimikas may not have been able to showcase his own talents, but he still looked in great spirits at full-time.
The full-back ran over to Salah and jokingly stole his match-ball before celebrating, with the Egyptian winger left laughing.
The moment showed the spirit in the Liverpool group right now, and Reds fans loved seeing Tsimikas so pleased despite not playing a part.
Playing a part
Tsimikas may not have featured yesterday, but he has played a role in Liverpool’s success this term.
The 25-year-old has now made five appearance for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the Premier League, and helped them stay unbeaten.
With Andy Robertson now fully fit, Tsimikas may have to get used to his role as a substitute.
But he has at least proven that he has the class to make an impact at Anfield now, after what was a fairly difficult first season at the club.
