Ian Wright has reacted on Instagram to Aaron Ramsdale being joined by David Seaman in Arsenal training on Tuesday.

Arsenal’s new number one stated on Instagram that he ‘finally got to meet this man properly’, as he labelled Seaman as a ‘legend’.

Another Highbury hero in Wright reacted to Ramsdale’s message and simply stated ‘love this’, as he saw the duo pictured together.

There aren’t many or better ex-Arsenal keepers that Ramsdale can pick the brains off because Seaman was one of the best, for both club and country, during his playing days.

He may not don his legendary moustache or ponytail now, but there’s no doubt that the mood in training yesterday would have been an upbeat one.

After all, Arsenal did secure a 3-1 win over their North London rivals on Sunday and Ramsdale was outstanding in between the sticks.

The £24 million summer signing (Sky Sports) conceded for the first time in Arsenal colours against Spurs, but overall, he has had a near-perfect start.

But one of the tougher and trickier tests await Mikel Arteta’s men at the weekend because they lock horns with Brighton.

Graham Potter’s side are one of the form sides of the new Premier League season, so far, and they have some history with the Gunners.

If Arsenal can pick up three points at the Amex then it will make people stand up and notice that the club are starting to make real strides forward.
